January Update

On Monday we will be heading back to our home in Spokane for a few weeks. Though we have had a wonderful time with family these last three weeks, it will be so nice to be home. So far we've only been home for 2 and 1/2 weeks since September and I (Ellie) am really missing it.

This last month has been so full of blessings......several new people have decided to join us financially and have been such an encouragement to us. We are inching closer to reaching our goal of being in Indonesia by this time next year and are so thankful for those who have decided to partner with us. Tomorrow we will be presenting in a church outside of Seattle, and will pack up and head home the next day.

Here are some things that you can be praying for:

  • Bulleted ListMy health: I have had several minor health issues since Callie was born and could use prayer for physical healing.

  • The transition back home: We will start potty training Blake and also attempting to get Callie to sleep through the night. Please pray for success in these areas. Callie is almost 7 months old and still not sleeping well, and we are hoping to use this time home (while we are finally in one place for a while) to get Blake out of diapers!

  • That God would prepare the churches and individuals we are going to be contacting in the Spokane area and that it would be an encouraging time for us.
    Thank you!

We started feeding Callie solids!

"This is what God the Lord says - he who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it: I, the Lord, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness.
